Joe understands that the most important job of a State Representative is to represent his constituents.
This means that when a resident has a problem, Joe is committed to working towards fixing it. If this means contacting a State agency to find information or break a logjam, attending town hall and community events to learn about ongoing issues and concerns from the public, or even representing the district when debating and voting on legislation!
The Delaware General Assembly is only in session from January through June, and even then only three afternoons a week. Most of the job of a State Representative is to be available to constituents and work to resolve their problems. Voting on laws is only part of a Representative's job and Joe is eager to contribute.
Joe will be available to constituents and responsive to their needs.
